Track Your Trades is a Windows-based software program for traders, investors, and tax professionals. It is the premier product for generating IRS Schedule D (Capital Gains and Losses) for your federal tax return, complete with totals, cost basis, wash sales, name and SSN. Enter trades manually or import at your convenience. You can print the report or export it to TurboTax, TaxCut, or Excel for e-filing. At tax time, you need to report your Capital Gains and Losses (Schedule D) on your tax return, a tedious process that can take hours or days. This is where Track Your Trades comes to the rescue. It's a record-keeping system that organizes your trades and streamlines the preparation of your Schedule D. The software also features tools to manage your trades/investments. View your trading history, check open positions including average price paid, see how many shares are long-term vs short-term capital gain, check your rate of return, and perform "What-if" analysis for identifying opportunities for strategic tax loss selling.
